Seeds of Serenity — Yoga Nidra and Art Experience

This workshop includes a 40-minute nature-based Yoga Nidra guided by Ryan, followed by a 2.5-hour therapeutic eco-artmaking experiential, where everyone will paint a 4" terracotta pot and plant a succulent in it (all materials provided), guided by Rachael.
Yoga Nidra is a type of yoga focused on deep relaxation and restoration. The term Yoga Nidra translates to “yogic sleep.” It is a guided process that promotes a state between wakefulness and sleep, akin to lucid dreaming. This balance, or homeostasis of relaxed awareness, promotes numerous benefits for well-being. Benefits of Yoga Nidra include an increased ability to relax, decreased stress and overwhelm, improved memory and alertness, reduced pain and inflammation, enhanced immune function, and overall healing of the mind, body, and soul.
