The Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC) is preparing for an exciting new chapter, and we need your help to find the right person to lead it.
We’re officially launching the search for our next Executive Director, someone who is passionate about health equity, grounded in community, and ready to guide our growing organization into its future. The new Executive Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy, expanding our impact, and ensuring that Black Coloradans continue to have access to the care, knowledge, and support they deserve.
This role requires a leader with strong ties to Colorado’s health and philanthropic communities—ideally someone with lived experience in Colorado’s Black communities and a deep understanding of the historical and systemic inequities impacting those communities.
We are looking for a visionary nonprofit professional with:
● 3+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit, public health, or community settings ● A proven record in fundraising, grant writing, and donor stewardship ● Lived experience and deep understanding of Colorado’s Black communities ● A collaborative leadership style and commitment to racial equity ● Knowledge of Colorado’s health and philanthropic landscape
NOTE: This is a hybrid position based in Aurora, Colorado. Applicants must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the state of Colorado.
We would love your help in finding the right person to lead CBHC forward. If you know someone whose experience, passion, and values align with this role, please share our job posting on Indeed.
Thank you for being a part of the CBHC community and for your continued support.
With gratitude, Jerome Blackwell Board Chair Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC)
