All J&P members and friends are invited to celebrate a new year at our Annual Meeting & Party for Peace! The potluck dinner will feature a presentation by Bill & Genie Durland on their experience with the December Gaza Peace March and music by Lazaro. If you are not yet a member or want to renew for 2010, please click here. To RSVP, contact Steve at (719) 632-6189 or director@ppjpc.org.

Besides reporting on the year past, one major order of business will be to (s)elect new board members. The following four members have submitted their names in nomination:

Kelly Church is an active backpacker, hiker and runner who served for six years on the Manitou Springs Park and Recreation Advisory Board.
John Gudvangen has lived in Colorado Springs most of the time since 1967. He graduated from Harrison High School and went on to serve on the Harrison District 2 school board and, later, the Colorado Springs School District 11 board.
Max Hale is a retired clergyperson, having served as a church pastor and campus pastor at Auburn University in Alabama during the Civil Rights era and at Purdue University during the Vietnam era.
Daniel Kidney grew up in rural upstate New York with a strong orientation towards peace and goodwill towards all the world's people.

Volunteer Coordinator: We have lots of volunteers who want to go to work for peace, justice and sustainability. Now we need someone to volunteer to help coordinate volunteers! To help out, contact Steve at director@ppjpc.org.
