Hi Everyone:
I am waking to do a fundraising myself and with other friends to support Neurofibromatosis (NF), The Colorado: Inaugural Denver NF Walk, Sunday, October 11 2009, 9:00am - 1:00pm. NF is a lifelong disorder that encompasses a set of distinct genetic disorders that cause tumors to grow along nerves in the body or under the skin. It can affect the development of bones and skin. These tumors are called neurofribromas and can lead to blindness, loss of hearing, learning disabilities, skeletal defects and many other serious complication.
I am doing this walk to support my friend’s daughter Rosalynn Ioapo, who has the neurofibromatosis. She is now 31 years old and she is very beautiful from the inside and out. She is diagnosed when she was 6 years old. She is blessed to be able to do what she have been doing since then, like going to work, enjoy her family and friends, even though it is difficult.
Funds that are raised through the NF Walk program support the Children’s Tumor Foundation, a non – profit organization that funds world class research into NF therapies to treat and eventually cure NF.
If you have any questions, please call me at 719-439-6193 or home phone: 719-264-0016. With your donations and contributions most especially your prayers, hopefully someday they will find a cure for this very rare neurological disorder through scientific study and research. Thank you and God Bless!!

Nida
