Church Leaders Impacting Community Change

Please mark your calendar. You and your ministry leaders are cordially invited to a Community Update on October 17, 2009, from 3-5 pm at “The Center,” located at 5353 N. Union, Suite 10-G.



The purpose of the Community Update is to hear current information from leading community organizations. The presentations will provide your leaders the strategic insight necessary to understand how to get involved and be effective in our community.



The agenda is as follows:

2nd Hour- Q&A and Open Discussion







The speakers for this event are community experts and represent the leading grassroots, nonprofit organizations making a huge difference in the Greater Pikes Peak Region.

The Intended Audience – Local Pastors, ministry leadership team, and community liaison.



The Inspiration -- I recently read an awesome book entitled, “The Church of Irresistible Influence” by Dr. Robert Lewis, Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock Arkansas. Using bridges as a metaphor—Pastor Lewis shows how the church can become a strong, well-traveled link between heaven and earth in our community. Great resource of lessons-learned for our community.
