Breast Health Seminar at Penrose Library Carnegie Reading Room

A Breast Health Seminar will be held Monday, 10/26/09, at 5:30 p.m., at Penrose Library Carnegie Reading Room. Please RSVP by 10/14/09. Per Carolyn Kalaskie:
Part of my duties here at the Cancer Center involve forming and working in community partnerships. For the past three years I have been an integral part of the Pikes Peak Breast health Connection. We are sponsoring our first community outreach project in three years. A seminar to teach the people of our area about early detection and risk reduction for breast cancer.

Please, pass it along to your own friends, family, networks, churches and other affiliations. We want this event to have meaning and to make a change in screening behavior. Our aim is to educate community members so they will be able to make informed health care decisions.

If we catch breast cancer early we save lives 97% of the time!
