The band was first discovered at the International Blues Challange in Memphis. The Grand County Blues Society in Winter Park invited them to perform and extended the offer so we can see them perform as well. The band is on a short tour all the way from INDIA!!!! This will be a special treat. Opening the show, performing traditional Indian, music will be Saptak, a local Indian band known for performances at the annual event Diwali, A Festival of Lights. Grass It Up, one of the area’s most popular Bluesgrass bands will perform a short set and then join Saptak on stage for an interesting mixture which could best be described musically as “East meets West”. India Palace restaurant will provide a buffet prior to the show. Buffet will be served from 5:30-7:30 and the music will be from 7-10 pm.
