Colorado Springs Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration Committee

Habari Gani*,

For two decades, the Colorado Springs Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration Committee has consistently provided this open and free cultural celebration to the community service in an effort to increase cultural competency regarding African Americans. The celebration is primarily funded by small African American businesses and civic organizations through ads in our Souvenir Program Booklet. We ask for your support of the 20th Colorado Springs Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration. As a special offer, all organizations and businesses that take out a half-page or full page ad will be provided a free exhibit booth during our African Marketplace 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 26th (a savings of $35). The African Marketplace is a unique opportunity to share with the community the great work, contributions, and activities of your organization.

Kwanzaa celebrates the best and highest values of the history, culture, philosophy, and achievements of African people (living in America and in other parts of the world). It doesn’t matter if you know little or quite a bit about Kwanzaa. It’s a great cultural experience regardless. Come, bring your family and/or friends to this celebration of family, culture, & positivity!

We do hope that you are able and willing to support the 20th Colorado Springs Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration in some manner.

Peace & Blessings,

Dr. Tony Young

Founder
