There are so many ways you make a difference for the Museum to help shine a light on African American history and culture.

Your renewal gift today will help:
    1. Illuminate the African American contributions, struggles, and triumphs that have shaped our nation.
    2. Create thought-provoking exhibitions that transform what people know about the ever-evolving African American experience.
    3. Expand the Museum’s collections to permanently protect more singular African American artifacts, such as our recent joint acquisition of the Johnson Publishing Company Archive.
    4. Increase global access to the Museum through immersive digital resources like our award-winning Searchable Museum initiative.
    5. Inspire young learners through the Museum’s educational programs and resources for early childhood education and students in grades 3-12.
    6. Foster dialogue through the Museum’s public forums and community events.
    7. Preserve living history through our Community Curation Program, which empowers African American communities to save their personal treasures and the stories they hold.
    8. Celebrate nine years of making history together …
    9. … and ensure the future of the only national Museum dedicated solely to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture.
