    Assistant Professor, Race and Medicine, Department of Black Studies...

    The Department of Black Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for a tenure-track position in Race and Medicine with a start date of July 1, 2025 or thereafter. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. While all areas of research related to Race and Medicine will be considered, we are particularly interested in candidates whose research and teaching focus on Reproductive Justice and/or other aspects of Medical Racism. We define Reproductive Justice research as any project that considers Black people’s right to have children, to not have children, to raise the children we have in safe and healthy environments, and to enjoy gender and sexual autonomy.

    Special Collections Archivist II

    The Project Archivist’s duties will include physically processing and arranging the material according to archival best practices; creating an online finding aid in compliance with local guidelines and national standards; communicating and closely partnering with curatorial, conservation, and digitization staff; and writing blog posts and participating in outreach activities related to the collection. The Project Archivist will supervise a Library Assistant III and a Library Assistant II, who will help with the processing of the archive.

    The Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts, an interdisciplinary group of scholars in the humanities and social sciences, invites applications for the 2026-2029 fellowship competition. Applications are welcome for two or three Open Fellowships in any discipline represented in the Society, one Fellowship in Humanistic Studies, and one Fellowship in East Asian Studies. The Society’s website provides details on the fellowships, eligibility, disciplines, and application dossier.
