ABOUT THE PROGRAM
In the depths of the Great Depression, Colorado Springs blossomed with construction, infrastructure, and cultural projects under Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal programs. This included two local murals painted by Archie Musick, who kept diaries and sketchbooks detailing the projects and the era. In this talk, Pat Musick shares her father's inside view and experiences, along with an overview of the New Deal's impact in the Pikes Peak region.
