Join us for a special Fourth of July Jazz celebration featuring Carl Jackson and Conceptsâthe eveningâs featured artistsâwho will also lead a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Charlie Burrell.
Known as the âJackie Robinson of Classical Music,â Burrell broke racial barriers as the first Black musician in a major American symphony orchestra. A foundational figure in Denverâs jazz and classical scenes, his recent passing reminds us of the powerful legacy he left behindâone that continues to inspire generations. Performers include:
